This Eagan home was heavily hit by hail stones. The homeowners learned of Trinity Exteriors through a friend, and hired the contractor to remove and replace the damaged building materials. Our inspection showed the roof, gutters and 9 windows were all dented, so after the homeowner went through their insurance claims process, we began our work. We first tore off the old shingles, replacing them with the homeowners' color and style choice of Owens Corning Oakridge in Flagstone. Then, we installed the new windows. The homeowners wanted Lindsay Pinnacle windows, which featured Low E glass, warm edge spacer and 3 seals at the sill for increased energy efficiency. Finally, the new seamless aluminum gutters went in. Although this home required a great deal of restoration, the process was smooth, quick, and stress-free for the homeowners, thanks to Trinity's continuous communication.
Trinity Exteriors, Inc has 10 years of experience in the insurance restoration industry, which is how we were able to respond so quickly to this customers emergency repair request. After a hail storm blew through St. Paul, we patched a part of the roof that was leaking, and then proceeded to inspect the rest of the home for further damage. The dented shingles, siding and windows all needed replacing. After work was approved by the homeowner's insurance company, our crews tore off the old shingles and replaced them with Owens Corning Duration in Colonial Slate. The siding and the windows were done at about the same time, since the homeowners wanted to upgrade to window wraps around their new windows to prevent their heating and cooling bills from getting too high. The new siding was Mitten Sentry Dutch 4.5" lap in Muskoka Green. The new windows were energy efficient windows with LowE Argon glass, designed to protect the home's floor coverings, furniture and pictures from UV rays.
As an award-winningwindows contractor, Trinity Exteriors has built its reputation on the referrals and reviews of its customers. In the case of this Eagan home, a large hail storm required a nearly full exterior restoration. The roof had to be removed and replaced first, the old asphalt shingles torn off so the new Owens Corning Oakridge shingles in Flagstone could be installed to bring the roof up to code. Vents were also cut in to improve the home's ventilation. Siding was the next part of the restoration. Our crews made sure the new Vintage Wicker vinyl siding in 4.5 clapboard looked flawless before the new seamless aluminum gutters in white went on. For the final touch of the fully restored and beautified home was the new Pella ProLine wood windows. The exteriors was clad in white, while the interior was unfinished, at the homeowner's request.
Having 10 years of experience with the insurance restoration process, windows contractor Trinity Exteriors was able to handle this Eagan project easily and quickly. The homeowners originally chose Trinity for its great reviews on Angie's List and the BBB. After a free inspection, our expert field reps were on-site when the homeowners' insurance adjuster came out to perform their inspection. We were able to offer our opinion on the damage incurred from the storm, and once work was approved, we worked quickly to get new roofing, siding and windows on the house. The homeowners liked that Owens Corning is produced in Minnesota, so they opted for OC Duration shingles in Driftwood, and new CertainTeed vinyl siding in Savannah Wicker. For the windows, they chose the Andersen 400 Series Wood Clad windows. The window exteriors were white, to complement the new siding, and the interior Clear Pine for a softer style inside the home. All the windows feature full screens and tan hardware.
Eden Prairie-based contractor Trinity Exteriors was ideal for this insurance restoration project requiring exceptional attention to detail. While the roof was less than 10 years old, the hail impacts required our crews to remove and replace the shingles entirely, but then the rest of the home needed some detail work to recover from the heavy storm. The sunroom was sanded and refinished, various windows and doors wrapped in order to prevent drafts, and one damaged window was replaced with a new wooden window. The homeowners were pleased with the end result, and happy to have one dedicated project manager on site answering their questions and communicating the timeline.
