When a large hail storm rained down upon Eastern Minnesota, Minneapolis area siding contractor Trinity Exteriors took on many restoration projects for Stillwater residents. This house was one such project, having been heavily hit by hail stones. The homeowners took a positive view on the situation—our efforts to take the time to thoroughly explain how the insurance restoration process worked diminished their confusion.
We made sure to be onsite during the insurance adjuster's inspection, in order to point out the damage we had found and to offer why we believed the damage required a full replacement to bring the home back up to minimum building code. Once the scope of work was determined, we tore off the dented vinyl siding to wrap the house in Tyvek vapor barrier to protect the house from rain and allow vapor to escape the house. The homeowners wanted to stick with low-maintenance vinyl siding, but they selected the popular Mastic Carvedwood Double 4" in Harbor Grey. As a final touch, we installed new 5" seamless aluminum gutters in White.
