Before Trinity Exteriors began work on this siding, which was damaged in a hail storm.
The Tyveck housewrap went up prior to the new steel siding installation.
The asphalt shingles were also damaged in this early spring hail storm. We removed and replaced them with Owens Corning Duration Storm in Driftwood.
A full exterior replacement and upgrade means these homeowners don't have to worry about the durability of their housing materials for several decades.
A very early hail storm in March of 2016, left significant dents in the asphalt shingles and steel siding of this Maple Grove, MN home. The homeowners called in for a repair, not knowing the extent of the damage their home suffered. After a free inspection, roofing and siding contractor Trinity Exteriors showed the homeowners the photographs of how hard the hail had hit. We talked the homeowners through the restoration process until all their questions were answered, then we began our restoration process. We first carefully protected the rest of the home and the landscaping before tearing off the old shingles and siding. For the roof, we installed Owens Corning Weatherlock Ice & Water Barrier to prevent driving rain and wind from penetrating the decking. The homeowners picked out their favorite color shingle, Owens Corning Storm in Driftwood.
For the siding, we removed the dented and damaged steel. After putting on the Tyveck housewrap, designed to increase the home's energy efficiency, we built the steel siding in 4" clapboard. The homeowners opted to stick with the same color—Norwegian Wood—to keep the timeless versatility of the siding throughout the years.
