Challenge

The challenge with this White Bear Lake, MN home was to restore the roof to prime condition so it could protect the house from wind, rain and falling debris during future storms.

Solution

Twin Cities area roofing contractor Trinity Exteriors met this challenge with our signature craftsmanship and quality products. Our first priority was to tear off the old shingles that were showing granule loss from the hail impacts of the storm. We then inspected the roof decking to gurantee no spots were mushy, and that the decking was up to local building code with minimal gaps between boards. Then we put down a layer of Owens Corning Weatherlock Ice & Water Barrier to protect the roof from driving rain and wind. Finally, we installed the homeowners' choice of new asphalt shingle: Owens Corning Duration in Sand Dune.
