This roof was nearing the end of its life expectancy, so the homeowner was referred to Trinity Exteriors by a friend for a restoration. Our inspector found, after the free inspection, that the roof wasn't going to make it through another Minnesota winter without leaking, which could cause tremendous damage to the interior of the Center City home. After a full tear off of the old shingles, we put down a layer of Owens Corning Weatherlock Ice & Water shield to prevent driving wind and rain from damaging the roof's decking. We then installed the homeowners' choice of Owens Corning Duration asphalt shingles in Driftwood. The gutters also had to be replaced, so we put in seamless aluminum gutters in White, along with Leafree gutter guards to prevent debris from nearby trees and bushes from clogging up the gutters.
